Dr.VijayDr. Vijay Haribhakti, also known as Dr. Vijay V. Haribhakti, is an esteemed Surgical Oncologist with over 31 years of experience. He has gained extensive expertise in performing more than 7000 major surgeries for breast, head, and neck cancer. Dr. Haribhakti's primary focus lies in the areas of Head and Neck Cancer, Reconstructive Surgery, and Breast Cancer, achieving a high success rate in his treatments. He obtained his MBBS from Seth G. S. Medical College in Mumbai, followed by an MS in General Surgery from the same institution. Dr. Haribhakti further pursued fellowships at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and the Center for Microsurgery in Belgium. He is a valued member of the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Haribhakti has undergone specialized training in laser surgery under Prof. Wolfgang Steiner in Germany and Head and Neck Oncology at the Royal National Throat, Nose, and Ear Hospital in London. Notably, he has contributed to the field through his innovative surgical approaches, instrumental advancements, and authorship of Head and Neck chapters in a major Oncology textbook. Currently, Dr. Haribhakti serves as a consultant at Jaslok Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, and Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
