He has pursued his MBBS from Jabalpur University in 1966, MD - General Medicine from University of Poona in 1972, DM - Nephrology from P.G.I.M.E.R. and Chandigarh in 1983. He currently practices at Apollo Hospital Delhi in Sarita Vihar(Delhi), The Neurology Clinic - Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Jasola(Delhi) and Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals in Sarita Vihar(Delhi). He holds membership of Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN), Indian Society of Organ Transplantation (ISOT), Indian Society Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Society of India (P.D.S), Delhi Nephrology Society, Asian Pacific Society of Nephrology (APSN) and Member Advisory Committee.
